It’s here!

Episode one of The Visitors: Season 1 is here! Just click THIS link to download! It’ll be free sometime this week, so keep an eye out for that. Make sure you tell your friends!

Hello? You guys still there?

The latter half of 2012 was busy, crazy, and hectic. Both in very good, and in very bad ways. However, is 2013! Time for a new year. A new start. I know I’m a little late, but YOLO, right? (Note: If I ever say that again, shoot me.)

Time to announce what’s been cooking in the studio.

I know what you’re thinking. “What is this? The Visitors? Season One? Episode One? Waaaaa??????”

It basically boils down to this: The Intruders is being republished as a serial, ie. The Runners. The Intruders is being split into five parts, and released as “episodes”, with each episode releasing every week. Episode one is coming out tomorrow, and the season is concluding in five weeks.

But Logan, I’ve already read The Intruders.

If you’ve already done that, than you don’t have to read season one.

The story is staying exactly the same. The only thing that will be different, is that the books will have better editing. I might add or remove a sentence or two, just so everything might make more sense. But I repeat: THE STORY IS STAYING ABSOLUTELY THE SAME!!!!!!!

What about The Enemy?

The Enemy will be known as “Season Two” of The Visitors. It will be released around May, with an episode coming out every week.

But I don’t want to have to wait a week to read each part. I want to read the entire book at once!

Well then, you’re in luck! After each season is finished, the next week I’ll be releasing all of the episodes in one book, so you can read the entire thing uninterrupted! Basically, one season = one book.

So! That’s the big announcement. To recap:

  • The Intruders is being re-released in serial format, under the name “The Visitors.
  • One season = one book.
  • The Enemy, or, Season Two, is coming out in May.
  • It will have less grammatical errors.

I’m very excited to see how this all works out. Also, each episode will be free the weekend it’s released. If you’ve left a review for The Intruders, I ask that you leave a review for The Visitors episode one, and/or for the Season One box set.

Thanks for all of your support! I can’t do this without you.

What Have I Gotten Myself Into?

I keep clicking the refresh button, even though I know it will be a week before I get the revisions back. It hasn’t even been 24-hours yet. I’m excited, but also nervous and scared. This is the first time that I know of that the words that I have written are being sent to someone as big as this. They’re with an agent in NY to be torn apart and sent back to me, and a rejection letter isn’t following.

Fifteen pages a week, send them to the agent, he tears them apart, sends it back to me, and I have to put everything back together, except better this time.

What a nightmare.

What an adventure.

This is going to be awesome.

What have I gotten myself into?

I’m not signed with the agent or anything, he’s just going to be tearing apart critiquing my novel. This novel will definitely be amazing, and through writing this I have gotten over my writers block that I had with The Enemy, and I’ve started back writing that again.

So not only do I have the pressure of knowing that one thing I’m writing is going to be read by a NY agent and critiqued and I have to revise what he tells me to, I also have to write a sequel to another novel that satisfies not only fans, but that I am satisfied with.

What have I gotten myself into?

Cover Reveal!

So, I just realized that I never did an official cover reveal for the new covers for the Visitors Trilogy.

Here’s the “new” cover for The Intruders:

TheIntrudersNewCoverWhat do you guys think? Personally, I love this cover so much! The light represents the Grimms chasing them, and the scene on the cover is the scene towards the end of the book where the Grimms are chasing them through the woods.

On to the next one!

theenemycoverI really LOVE this one too! The cover of The Enemy isn’t really a scene, really, it’s more of a place. What place? Well, that’s for me to know, and for you to find out!

What do you think of the new covers?

Scratch That, Reverse It

You may remember awhile ago when I announced Porters, the serial I was going to write about the kids with super powers. Well, I’m un-announcing that, or rather, re-announcing it. It’s kind of taken a life of it’s own, and I’m not going to stop it.

It’s now called Powerless, and it’s what the pilot episode of Porters was supposed to be. It’s going to be released as a stand-alone novella probably in January. Before you guys freak out and are all like “Why are you writing that, when you should be writing The Enemy?”  Well, it’s because I can only write so much of one story a day, before my mind wanders to something else. I can write a lot in a day, but it’s hard for me to write a lot of one thing in a day. Plus The Enemy has gone through lots of revisions, because I want the story to be a least-sucky as possible. And as every writer will tell you, the first draft of your novel is super-sucky. So there.

Also, after I finish Visitors Trilogy, I’m probably not going to write any more novels for a while. Not forever, but just for awhile. I’m going to write novellas and serial novels, because I have a bajillion ideas in my head, and almost all of them aren’t novel length. There are a few, though, and they will be written eventually.

That’s all, folks!

Where the Heck is The Enemy?!

I know a lot of you are probably wondering this. And the answer is this: it is coming soon. I never anticipated that it would take this long to write, or else I never would’ve suggested that it’d be out sooner. Truth is, The Enemy is probably the hardest thing I’ve ever written. It’s very complex, and I’ve hit lots of roadblocks in the story. Recently, though, I’ve overcome them, and I’m back on track.

I don’t have an exact date on when it will be out, but hopefully it is by the end of the year. Granted there’s only seven weeks and a couple days left in the year, I still plan on having it out by then. The only reason why it would not be out that I can think of is if it takes a while for my editor to go through it. It will be finished by then, though.

The final book in the series isn’t going to take as long to write, though. It’s going to be amazing. The Enemy, too. Man, I wrote this scene today that is totally awesome and crazy and mind blowing in every way. I cannot wait for you guys to read it! It’s a step up from The Intruders in every way. Like, two people die within the first 20,000 words. I didn’t want them to, though. One of them I introduced towards the beginning of the novel, and had a whole back story and everything planned for them. They were going to be an awesome character.

Then they died.

I didn’t want them to, but they had to.

Anyways, that is what’s up with The Enemy. Sorry for the wait, but it’ll be totally worth it.

And for those of you wondering, The Runners Anthology is going to come out in February. That’s around the time that Eden was released, so it’ll kinda be like a one-year anniversary deal.

You may have seen that the post that I wrote for Porters was taken down. That’s because something totally awesome happened to it, and I took everything in a completely different direction. More about that, and another series I’m going to be working on when I am through with The Enemy, is coming soon.

Last but not least, if you could, go leave a review for The Intruders on Amazon. (click here) I’ve got eleven now, but I could always use more! I’d love you forever.

The Enemy: Chapter Four, and Some Updates

Right now, I’m going to post a chapter from The Enemy! It’s Chapter Four, and this is when things kick into high gear. And let me tell you, it’s at least ten chapters before things finally start to slow down again. It’s one heck of a ride! I can not wait for you guys to get your hands onto the final product, which I am working very hard on. I’m waking up early every morning, going to McDonald’s/the library to write, and not stopping until around lunch time. It’s hard, but let me tell you, I love it so freaking much.

Anyways, enough blabbering, I’m sure you guys want to hurry up and read. Here you go!

Note: This is not the final product. There’s probably some spelling/grammar errors, because I don’t edit my books until I’m done with the first draft. In other words, this is the first draft and not in any way final. Also, I’ve inserted the word SPOILER on parts that are…well…spoilers, and I don’t want you to know yet. Enjoy!
